| RENOVATING MASSIE HALL In November 2005, the renovation of Massie Hall began with plans of turning it back into a residence hall. It is scheduled to be open to students by the fall of 2006 and will provide 82 additional beds, with 34 semi-private and 14 private rooms available. The second and third floors will have one suite which will house four students (two private and one semi-private) with a living room and private bath. The other rooms will not have a living room, but will have bedrooms on each side with a bathroom in the middle. A great feature is that each room will have the ability to control their own heating and air conditioning. Each floor of the facility will have a large student lounge designed for hall activities. There will also be a laundry room and computer lab. |
